My Story

My Story

From the battlefield… to the battle within… to healing.

I Am a Warrior — Just Like You

I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom I and II.
Like many warriors, I came home changed — not just physically, but internally.

The mission ended, the uniform came off, and society expected life to simply “go back to normal.”
But for many of us, that’s when the real fight began.

Hypervigilance. Anger. Emotional numbness. Sleepless nights.
A mind that never stood down.

I didn’t know it then, but I was carrying unresolved trauma — not weakness,
but survival responses that had nowhere to go once I was home.

The Silent Struggle

Like so many veterans, I was taught to push through, suck it up, and keep moving.
We’re trained to endure — not to process.

What society often forgets is that warriors don’t stop being warriors when they return home.
The nervous system doesn’t get the memo.

I tried to handle it the only way I knew how — through control, discipline, and suppression.
And for a while, that worked… until it didn’t.

That’s when I realized something critical:
PTSD isn’t about what happened — it’s about what never got released.

Finding a Different Path to Healing

My life began to change when I was introduced to tools that worked with the subconscious —
not against it.

Through Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP),
Mental and Emotional Release® (MER),
Hypnotherapy,
and Huna Energy Healing,
I discovered that healing didn’t require reliving the trauma.

It required releasing the emotional charge stored in the body and nervous system.

For the first time, I experienced calm — not avoidance, not numbness —
but real, grounded peace.

Ho‘ōla Na Koa — Healing the Warriors

As a Native Hawaiian, I was raised with an understanding that healing is not just mental —
it is energetic, emotional, and relational.

Ho‘ōla Na Koa means “Healing the Warriors.”
It honors strength while allowing restoration.

I now bridge ancient wisdom with modern subconscious science —
helping veterans release what no longer serves them
without judgment, labels, or endless talk therapy.

Why I Do This Work

Veterans are often thanked for their service —
but forgotten when it comes to healing.

I created The Unforgotten Warrior because no one should fight alone,
and no warrior should feel broken for responding exactly as they were trained to survive.

This work is not about fixing you.
It’s about reminding you who you are beneath the weight you’ve been carrying.

“You are not alone. You are not weak.
You are remembered — and you are worthy of peace.”
